Trips & Travel
At St Christopher’s, trips and overseas travel are a key part of our mission to provide Education for a Shared Humanity.
These experiences broaden horizons, build independence, and give students the chance to explore new cultures, practise languages, and challenge themselves through sport, music, and academic competitions.
Infants
Our youngest learners begin with local excursions and on-island adventures that connect their classroom learning with the wider world, giving them the confidence to explore safely and with curiosity.
Juniors
In the Junior School, travel extends beyond Bahrain. Year 5 students enjoy a STEAM-focused trip to Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, where they take part in Formula 1 in Schools workshops and visit the Yas Marina F1 circuit. Year 6 students travel to Dibba in the UAE for an outdoor adventure that develops teamwork, resilience, and independence through activities such as zip-lining, kayaking, and wilderness survival.
Seniors
Senior School students benefit from a wide range of international opportunities. From cultural visits to Europe and language exchanges in France and Spain, to sports and music competitions across the Gulf and beyond, these experiences enrich both their academic studies and personal growth. Service trips, such as our long-standing Thailand Community Project, also empower students to make a meaningful difference globally.
Whether exploring Bahrain or travelling overseas, every trip helps our students grow as confident, compassionate, and curious learners — true Role Models for the World.
