Charity

Our Future-Ready Curriculum is designed to empower students to actively engage in addressing key environmental, economic, and social challenges, both within our community and across the globe.

Through service, we encourage our students to make meaningful contributions to Bahrain, the wider world, and the issues that matter most.

Whole School

Though our campuses are separate, we work together as one unified community, organising numerous charitable events throughout the year to support those in need. These efforts benefit both local causes and international charities. We raise funds for Think Pink - Bahrain Breast Cancer Society and participate in Just One Tree Day worldwide event. These initiatives focus on raising awareness and making a positive environmental impact.

We also proudly support the Box of Goodness charity, providing gifts to children at Christmas and food for the less fortunate during Ramadan. We organise second-hand clothing drives on a regular basis, where we collect donations to set up a thrift shop to benefit those in need. The Annual Festive Fayre is one of our most anticipated events, attracting over 6,000 visitors. Organised by our Parent Teacher Organisation (PTO), it features stalls, games, and fundraising activities. It's a vibrant celebration of giving, uniting our school community in a shared purpose.

Primary

In the Primary School, we aim to instill the importance of caring in our students and every year-group participates in a service activity. Starting in Early Years, events such as the Teddy Bear’s picnic and sponsored walks, aim to raise awareness for other children who are less fortunate. Proceeds from these events have provided much needed resources to the Bahrain School for the Blind. Later in the school, the concepts of entrepreneurship help drive projects that aim to raise funds for charities identified by the students involved.

Over the last few years, we have donated toys to local orphanages, food and bedding to animal shelters, festive parcels to the Mission to Seafarers and biryani lunches to migrant workers across the island.

Seniors

Each year, senior students collaborate to choose a charity they wish to support, incorporating service projects into their enrichment activities. This year, Year 8 students are raising funds for the Maldives Coral Reef Restoration program, sponsoring coral frames to help restore vital marine ecosystems. Other year groups have donated stationery, books, and games to local orphanages and schools for children with disabilities. IB CAS students take the lead in organising a backpack drive for the Migrant Workers Protection Charity, gathering contributions from each tutor group.

While the specific charities chosen each year may change, the sense of purpose, kindness, and giving that our students experience, leaves a lasting impact that lasts well beyond their time at school.
