Dance at St Christopher's School is a vibrant and integral part of the school's performing arts program.

Students have numerous opportunities to showcase their talents and creativity through a variety of performances and events including the annual Festive Fayre, Winter Concert, SPARTA Dance shows, Musical theatre productions, assemblies and more.

Our SPARTA dance program continually nurtures the core values of the 6 C's. Weekly sessions in ballet, street dance, contemporary, and tap provide students with the foundation they need to excel in dance examinations offered by the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA) and the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD).
 

By participating in dance exams, performing on stage, and dedicating themselves to rigorous training for competitions, students develop courage, confidence, creativity, and commitment.

Yearly Junior and Senior Productions provide an invaluable experience for all performers. Students learn the importance of commitment, attending rehearsals consistently and arriving prepared.

They develop discipline by mastering intricate choreography, refining their technique, and striving for precision. This fosters a strong work ethic as dancers continuously seek to improve their performance and contribute to the overall success of the production.

Dance is integrated into our Performing Arts Festival, providing students with the opportunity to showcase their choreography and creativity to a larger audience and participate in a broader community event.
