St Christopher’s School has been rated each year as one of the Top 100 private schools in
the world by Spears Index since 2021.
At St Christopher's School we demonstrate our commitment to international education through rigorous external inspections. We have consistently achieved "Outstanding" ratings in inspections conducted by leading accrediting bodies:
- Penta International: Awarded "Outstanding" in all standards during the February 2023 inspection, marking the fourth consecutive "Outstanding" rating by this UK Government-accredited body for British Schools Overseas.
- Bahrain Education & Training Quality Authority (BQA): Rated "Outstanding" in the Bahrain inspection system.
- British Schools in the Middle East (BSME): Also accredited as "Outstanding" by this prestigious regional body.
Inspection Reports
The Standards for British schools overseas came into effect on 1 September 2010. They are modelled closely on The Education (Independent School Standards) Regulations, used in independent schools in England and thus enable comparisons to be drawn between British schools overseas and their counterparts in England. The inspection of British schools overseas is voluntary.
In 2024 we were awarded the TES Award for the most Innovate Curriculum.
