Welcome to St Christopher’s Senior School. Our students come from a wide range of cultures and nationalities, reflecting Bahrain’s diverse society, and form a delightful open, friendly and talented student body.
The Senior School provides students with a genuinely welcoming start to secondary education. The long traditions of St Christopher’s ensure that all children benefit from the experiences of others and the expertise of the teaching staff. St Christopher’s is known for its academic results, as well as its opportunities for drama, music and sports.
The Future Ready Curriculum prepares our students for the world beyond these doors.
As they navigate the National Curriculum for England in years 7-9, and IGCSEs in years 10&11. In the Sixth Form our students have the opportunity to create a unique pathway whether in BTECs, A Levels or the IB Diploma, allowing individuals to follow their passions and choose the right pathway for them to succeed.
Academically, our students attain very high standards at all ages. However, success is measured not only in academic achievement, but also in terms of growth in maturity, the development of social awareness, self-discipline and motivation, and a respect for the individual.
We offer an extensive extra-curricular programme in which we encourage all students to participate, with a large number of overseas trips on offer.
The school promotes an environment in which it is considered natural to help and support others within the school, and to give service to the wider community, both locally and internationally in-keeping with our mission ‘Education for a Shared Humanity’.
