In 2020 and 2021 there were no examinations due to the Covid global pandemic and schools awarded students grades, leading to significantly inflated grades at A Level and GCSE at some schools. We feel it gives a clearer picture of students’ performance not to include these school awarded results when comparing academic performance of students.

The Examinations Office is responsible for all aspects of the examination process on behalf of the various Examination Boards in the United Kingdom. St Christopher’s School is currently registered to conduct examinations through various Boards, but predominantly utilises the services of AQA, CIE and Edexcel.
