The Year 6 children enjoyed a field trip to the Grand Mosque. There they had the opportunity to see first hand the some of the things they had learned about in their RE lessons. The guide explained Islamic architecture and the design of the Mosque in detail and the children enjoyed the day as well as gaining a greater insight into the role of the Mosque in an Islamic society.
