Welcome to Year 4! Here you can explore the many fantastic learning opportunities that the children in Year 4 experience while with us. You can also learn about some of the exciting special events that we put on during the year. It is an action-packed, hard-working (but most of all) fun year. The classrooms in Year 4 are either side of a corridor that we call our Activity Street. This is an extra learning area outside the classrooms, ideal for drama activities or group work. Each term it is decorated to reflect one of our curriculum areas. Recently it has been an Arabic art gallery, a rainforest and an Ancient Greek agora!
As well as our classroom-based learning events, we also enjoy a wide range of special events during the year. These include: the annual Year 4 production (in 2011 we are performing The Keymaster – a musical adventure through time), Ancient Greek Day, rainforest day, a trip to the National Museum and the end of year Fun Day (recently we have been bowling, ice-skating and to the cinema).
As you can see, Year 4 is a busy year and we hope these pages give you a flavour of what happens and the fun we have. Of course, you can’t beat actually being here so why not pay us a visit? Look forward to seeing you soon!
