This term’s history topic on the Romans began with a Roman feast. The Year 3 children dressed in togas and reclined on cushions while they were served by their slaves - in the form of teachers and parents! They were entertained by performers and artistes. The entertainment featured acting, gymnastics, song and dance, and some awesome drumming performances. A magnificent feast was laid out in the hall and the occasion was enjoyed by all. All the Year 3s are now busy making swords and shields so watch out for the Roman battle re-enactments that are to take place soon.
