Year 2 have again put on an outstanding performance! They have all worked so hard; learning lines, singing songs and practising their dance steps.

What a fantastic day was had by all! The fearsome pirates undertook a range of activities with great gusto. They marauded with yells and hollers, taking Year 3 classrooms by storm and plundering...

Monday 17th April was Year 2 Palm Tree Day, a day devoted to the date palm and its important place in Bahrain’s history.

The Year 2 production of the Pied Piper was a roaring success!

Year 2 visited Budaiya Fire Station this week. Whilst there they had an opportunity to look at, and sit in, fire trucks, quiz fire-fighters, try out some equipment and listen to various sirens.

It was all hands on deck for a day devoted to mayhem in Year 2.

In order to make the learning relevant to our children we often make certain that they have an emotional attachment to the learning.

The election process for the Infant School Student Council begins next week.

As an entry point to our study, F1, all the children visited the Bahrain International Circuit: ‘home of Formula One in the Middle East’.

As a finale to the topics, Under the Sheltering Palm and Our Island Home, and as a well-deserved treat after a term in which much progress was made, Year Two staged Palm Tree Day on Wednesday 31st March.
