Fun was had by teachers, parents and children alike last Thursday in Year 1 and 2. In Year 2 It was a super opportunity for the children to learn out more about their parents childhood and whether the place they grew up was similar to Katie Morag’s! In year 1 children worked with their parents to talk about the people in their families from grandparents down to parents, their siblings and most importantly – themselves!

The children also enjoyed showing their family members around their new learning environment, both within the classroom and in the Activity Street. I know all the teachers enjoyed having the opportunity to meet parents at the start of the year in a more informal setting. Thank you to all who attended the tea party for making it such a fun event.
