Great fun was had on Thursday when Year 1 was taken over by aliens from many different planets within the universe! Luckily, they all seemed very friendly, and we did have several astronauts, Buzz Lightyears and Jedi’s to keep us safe. The children have had a tremendous amount of fun learning about space. They have enjoyed finding out facts about the planets in the solar system, creating posters, writing information books, and also creating their own imaginative aliens. The learning zones and role-play areas have been in constant use as children fly into space to save the universe from strange aliens. Thank you to all the parents who supported this event by helping to create some amazing costumes for your children.
