Hey! My name is Tom and I am a cat who likes to blog!
You may perhaps be wondering how a cat can blog. Well, just so that you know, I am in fact an ICT whizz and have got an A* in ‘paw-type’. It is, of course, an honour to be asked to write on the school website but, to be honest, I’m not that surprised. After all, the school wouldn’t function without me – Head of Security, Chief Demouser, Morning Greeter…my jobs never stop. Some of my pet humans do think they are in charge here at St Chris, but it’s not them, it’s me! It’s no wonder that I need the odd kip here and there (I just have SO much to do). Although, I do get annoyed when some human teachers walk past muttering about how that cat never seems to move from his basket!
I had to dress up as a Victorian cat this week to help the Year 1s. Have you been down their Activity Street? It’s amazing! There are kites everywhere and a Punch and Judy stand, and right at the end (if you feel brave enough to take a peep) there is a Victorian Classroom! It’s like travelling in time – where’s the Tardis?
Anyway, I’ve got to fly as it's getting kind of hectic! Security patrol is calling me...off on my rounds...I must remember to go and say hello to the little humans in their Nursery PODS – I had so much fun playing with the water wheels there yesterday!
OK, I am back from patrol – a little bit of a scary moment when I was almost packed off to Bahrain Fort with the Year 2s. I only hopped on the bus to check they all had their seat belts on and the door closed! Luckily, I was spotted. Phew! I do love Bahrain Fort but I can’t miss the Year 4 Cantata practice – did I tell you I was Executive Producer and Creative Consultant for all school productions? I know you’re not surprised. I’d better just have a nap to re-charge.....zzzzzzzzz
