  • Health & Fitness Week

    Hearts Pumping and Taste Buds Tingling – It’s Health and Fitness Week!
  • Tribal Fitness meets Year 5

    On 27 September, the trainers from Tribal Fitness put the Year 5 children through their paces.
  • Netball Trials

    On Sunday 16th and Monday 17th September girl’s netball trials were held after school in the sports hall. There were 21 Year 5 girls and 30 Year 6 girls who participated, all eager to display their netball talent and knowledge of the game. Mrs Lodwig was impressed by the standard of play and excited to see so many students try out.
  • Football Trials

    Its keeps getting bigger and better. 112 Year 5 and 6 boys and girls trialled for the teams this year. There will be three squads – Girls squad, development squad and football squad.
  • Basketball Trials

    An amazing 110 children trialled for the 20 or so spots on the basketball squad. Well done to all the children who turned up. I was really pleased with the sportsmanship that I saw.
  • World Athletics Day

    On a sultry night 6 boys and 6 girls competed in the World Athletics Day competition at the Khalifa Stadium.
  • Ski Trip 2012

    6 glorious days of skiing on a range of slopes, lots of good food, sunshine and friendly people.

    BPSSL Athletics meeting. On Saturday 17th March, a small but elite team travelled to The Bahrain School to take part in the BPSSL Athletics Fixture against our old rivals the British School, IKNS, The Bahrain School and the French School.

    On the weekend of 13 and 14 January 2012, St Christopher’s Junior School hosted a BSME Under 11 football tournament.

    ResultsThis Sports Day held at the Isa Town Stadium will be regarded as the best ever, with huge participation levels, fantastic sportsmanship, excellent faculties and outsatanding standards of performance by the students.

  • Bahrain Hockey Association’s annual tournament

    A team representing St. Christopher's School at the Bahrain Hockey Association's annual 6-a-side tournament was held to a 2-2 draw by the Indian School in an exhibition match held before the final of the main event.
  • Health and Fitness Week 2011

    Health & Fitness Week!The Infant and Junior School bounded into Health and Fitness Week with all the enthusiasm you would expect from St Christopher’s pupils!
  • House Assembly

    Our first House assembly of the year went off with a bang! Reception through to Year 6 sat in their Houses as Mr Holness introduced each of the House Leaders.
  • Dance Assembly

    A FANTASTIC way to end the year! St Christopher’s held it’s first truly cross-phase Dance Assembly at the end of the last school year. It was an enormous success, with dancers from Year 1 through to Year 10 performing.
  • World Heart Day 2011

    On Thursday 29th September St Christopher’s PE department ensured students where made aware of the importance of World Heart Day.
  • Year 6 Inter-House Sports

    9th March was the turn of Year 6 to step up to the challenge and take part in their Inter-House Football competition.

    Year 4 rounded up the week with some fantastic Inter-House Benchball matches.

    On 7th March, Year 3 took part in their Inter-House Benchball competition.

  • Bahrain Private Schools Sports League

    St Christopher’s Senior School win all the end of season sports tournaments (Boys Football and Girls Basketball) in the Bahrain Private Schools Sports League.
  • Senior Girls Under 19 Football

    After a great season in Bahrain that saw the girls winning the league and cup double they were invited to play in the “Dubai Unity Cup”.
  • Kids' Tribal Fitness, Easter Camp

  • BSME U13 Games in Kuwait

    The U13 boys and girls squads had a very successful trip to Kuwait in February, competing in the BSME Games.
  • Volleyball

    This Volleyball teams this Year all won a medal with 4 teams winning the League and two teams were runners up, some of the best results achieved.
  • Year 6 Football

    On 9th March, Year 6 stepped up to the challenge and took part in their Inter-House Football competition.

    On 8th March Year 5 took part in their Inter-House Basketball competition.

    The annual Senior School Sports Day took place on 6 Feb at the National StadiumThere were 500 competitors
  • Senior School Ski Trip

    39 students and 5 staff headed off to Torgon in Switzerland for the annual ski trip over the half term break.
  • Year 5 and 6 Ski Trip

    On 21st January, 50 Year 5 and 6 students set off on their journey to Switzerland for a week’s skiing holiday.
  • Unity Cup

    Many people would have happily informed you that the recent golf tournament at the Royal Golf Club was the biggest sporting event taking place in the Arabian peninsula over the last weekend in January.
  • Reception Sports Day

    The cold weather added to the excitement for the Reception children this year at their annual Sports Day.
  • Nursery Sports Day

    Wednesday 9th February began with thunderstorms and cold winds causing a mad rush to get all the equipment off the Tiger Turf and into the Sports Hall, before Reception and Nursery arrived for their annual Sports Day.

    Thankfully the wet, cold weather cleared up overnight to reveal glorious sunshine, allowing us to have the Year 1 and 2 Sports Day outside on the Tiger Turf.

    Thursday afternoon was the turn of Year 2 to show off their sporting skills in the Year 2 Sports Day.
  • St Chris students work on European Golf Tour Event

    Over 80 students recently helped out at the European Tour Golf Event which was held at The Royal Golf Club
  • Year 5 & Year 6 Sports Day

    Watch the Year 5 and 6 children compete in their houses in this year’s Sports Day! You will see clips from the 100m, shot putt, high jump, standing triple jump and ball throw, as well as each of the houses supporting their team. It was a fabulous day of competitive sport!
  • Year 3 & Year 4 Sports Day

    Watch the Year 3 and 4 children in action in this year’s Sports Day! In this clip you will see each house competing against each other in several activities. It was a fantastic afternoon with each house showing great sportsmanship and teamwork.
  • Under 15 BSME Games

    The St Christopher’s senior school hosted the BSME U15 Tournament welcoming Dubai College, Wellington School, Dubai, Kuwait English School, New English School, Kuwait and The British School of Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia.
  • Bahrain Marathon Relay - Infants & Juniors

    32 teaching and non-teaching staff from the St Chris Infant and Junior schools at the Saar campus joined forces to run the 46km Marathon relay on October 29th. Forming two teams led by myself and Mrs Rees, hopes were high of success.
  • Bahrain Marathon Relay - Senior

    On the morning of October 26th while many were relaxing at home, two staff teams from the Senior School were preparing to compete in the 30th Anniversary 2010 Bahrain Marathon Relay.
  • Under 13 Boys BSME Football Champions Match Reports

    The Boys stayed undefeated over the two days beating Dubai College, Jumeriah College the English College, Kuwait school, Al Ain, Saudi Schools along the way to the final.
  • Under 13 Boys BSME Football Champions

    The BSME Under 13s 2010 tournament took place at the Rashid school for Boys.
  • Food Demos, Aerobics & the Tasting Challenge

    Mrs Lee and her group of helpers proved to the whole school that healthy and delicious lunch time snacks could be made in just 5 minutes!
  • Year 5 & 6 Netball Trials

    On Monday 4th October, 20 Year 5 girls attended trials for the school netball team.
  • Year 5 & 6 Football Trials

    The Year 5 and 6 football trials were held in October.
  • Term 3’s Dance Assembly

    The dances that followed took us to different countries around the world. Year 1 took us to India and Pakistan to show off their Bhangra moves. What followed was a truly cross-phase dance.
  • House Captains and House Assembly

    We have had our first House assembly this year and what an exciting assembly it was! Year 1 through to Year 6 sat in their Houses awaiting the exciting arrival of the House Leaders.
  • World Heart Day 2010

    The PE Dept would like to give a big thanks to all staff and students that took part in World Heart Day on Sunday 26th Sept.
  • Inter House Sports

    This term saw Falcon, Kestrel, Merlin and Osprey go ‘head to head’ in several inter-house sporting competitions.
  • BSME Games - Cairo

    On the 10th March this year we took 24 year 5 and 6 pupils to the annual British Schools of the Middle East Games. This year the event was held at Modern English School in Cairo.
  • U15 BSME Games at St Christopher’s School

    The following schools competed in the 2 day event on 19th-20th February.
  • Senior School Ski Trip, Torgon 2010

    In February, 40 Year 7-9 Students and 5 staff enthusiastically embarked upon Switzerland, to engage in 7 days of skiing in Torgon, situated on the Swiss/French border in the Alps.
  • Sports Relief

    The St christopher's Senior school organised a sports relief day for students today.
  • U 13 BSME Football

    On the first day of the Tournament the team were undefeated!!!
  • World's top young golfers convene at Mission Hills

    Suzanna Hobday and Dan Owen (ex-St. Chris) are currently in China playing in the Grand Final of ‘The Faldo Series’ which is one of the most prestigious junior golf competitions in the world.
  • Year 5 & 6 Ski Trip 2010

    In January, 42 pupils from Years 5 and 6 travelled to Anzere in Switzerland for the Junior School's annual ski trip.
  • Year 1 and 2 Sports Day

    Years 1 and 2 complete for the Inter-House Cup.
  • Senior School Sports Day 2010

    More than 500 students took part in the senior school sports day which was held at the Bahrain National stadium in Riffa
