Miaow there,
Sorry for my recent lack of blogging but I have been away on a couple of
trips. While the school was hosting the Young Musicians of the Gulf (YMOG)
here at school - many congratulations to all our students who
participated - I was away at YMOGGY. This is an annual competition to find
the best Young School Cat of the Year. I regret to tell you that I didn't win
as I fell asleep during the 'Who has the Loudest Miaow' round but I had an
excellent time all the same. I think Tigger from a school in Kuwait won but
I fell asleeep during the presentation so I'm not sure.
I also went off skiing with students from Year 5 and 6 - they had
invited me along as their mascot and I have to tell you - never again! The
staff and students were great but that white stuff is freezing! I couldn't
find any warm, sunny spots to nap in at all. I'm glad to be back in the sun
I can tell you. If that wasn't enough, I also took a trip over to France to
join some Senior School students on their history trip. We went to
Eurodisney on one day - that Mickey has to be the largest mouse I've ever
seen but the Eurodisney management weren't too impressed when I tried to eat
him.
I was delighted to receive a visit from the Infant School councillors before
the half term break. I made my case that I should be given more tuna as a
matter of great urgency and they promised to take my request straight to Mr
Goodwin.
Character Day is approaching and I have been asked to think about a costume.
I won't mention the comedian who suggested I come as Lassie! Ha ha.
I have also been appointed as Mr V's official trainer for his attempt to run
the London Marathon in April. This is quite an easy job as it involves me
lying in my basket outside the school gates, yelling at him to run faster as
he does laps around the school grounds. Make sure you have downloaded his
letter from the school website so you can support him.
Talk to you later - have a great week.
