The Department
resides in a series of well-equipped and spacious
classrooms which are together on the ground
floor. There is also an office and ample storage
space. Computer access, if required, is easily
obtainable and centrally accessible.
Courses
We offer both
French and German to G.C.S.E. At present,
we also have groups studying French at AS
and A - Level. German in the Sixth-Form will
depend on take-up next year.
Career
routes
A languages
qualification can obviously lead to a career
in which the language(s) is used actively.
However, it should not be forgotten that a
good qualification in French or German is
generally viewed with respect and might therefore
open up doors which may not be immediately
obvious!
