| Description |
The
ICT department at St. Christopher's is committed
to providing as much access to computer facilities
as possible, both in a subject specialist
manner and in a cross-curricular fashion.
The staff within the department view their
role as more than subject specialists and
always provide support and assistance to other
departments to ensure that students can make
use of ICT across the whole range of the curriculum.
The department has a staff of 3 fully qualified
specialist teachers each with industrial expertise
which enhances the teaching, especially at
'A' Level. Examination results are consistently
very good indeed and we are proud to expect
and achieve the very best from our students. |

| Many students
go on to study Software Engineering; Computer
Science. Feedback from ex-students is revealing that studying ICT to A-level has helped them in their studies in degrees such as Accounting, Business & Finance and Actuarial Science. Clearly the ICT sector is experiencing
rapid growth and there continues to be an abundance of career
