More than 500 students took part in the senior school sports day which was held at the Bahrain National stadium in Riffa. The day was full of great sporting achievements, and saw several new school records!

The female athlete of the day was Kate Addison, who also broke the record for the 200 meters race. Omojola Oyebanjo was the male athlete of the day, having broken the record for the 800m race. Other record breakers included Jenny Gilbert in Javelin and Mark Burnell for high jump. Just short of breaking a record were the year 9 boys from Kestrel house who managed to equal the previous record held for the relay race. The overall winners of the day were Merlin.
