Aims of the course
The aim of the Mathematics course is to increase pupils’ confidence in their mathematical abilities. We hope to make Mathematics as accessible and enjoyable as possible for all our students through the use of a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles. We aim to get pupils to work in a systematic way, both cooperatively and independently and to help them acquire the knowledge and skills relevant to adult life. We hope that pupils will begin to appreciate how essential Mathematics is asa tool for communicating and of how useful it can be in other subjects.
