The Junior School's Charity Action team hosted the second annual Teacher-Parent Quiz Night on Monday 22nd March.
Tension was ratcheted up even further by having the teams representing different classes - which class would prove to have the cleverest parents? As one can imagine, the inter-class rivalry was intense as teams of parents sweated over airline logos, music from the movies and the location of shops in City Centre mall!
Never ones to pass up on an opportunity to show how intelligent they are, many teachers also formed teams to pit their wits against the parents.

Quiz Master, Rachel Anderson, showed that Anne Robinson knows nothing when it comes to putting troublesome competitors in their place and ensured that the whole evening ran smoothly. Refreshments from the Dilmun Club sustained the bodies although the brains were wilting by the interval. However, by the end of the evening, there were clear winners of a contest that had ebbed and flowed throughout.
Class 4E parents demonstrated that they were deserving champions and holders of the 2010 Cleverest Class Parents crown by pipping the School Management Team at the very last round. Honourable mention must also go to the Deloitte team who secured not only the wooden spoon prize but also an annual subscription to the Bahrain Tribune as a reward for coming last in the current affairs round!
Many thanks to all the teams who entered and roll on the 2011 event - is there anyone who can topple the mighty 4E?
