PTA: FAQ Section

What is the term of membership in the PTA?
Normally, members are elected onto the PTA for a term of two years.

Can anyone join the PTA?
Membership of the PTA is automatic for all parents of pupils attending St Christopher's school and for teachers employed by the school. Other people however, are welcome to participate in the organising and running of events.

What is the purpose / objectives of the PTA?
One of the objectives of the PTA is to work towards establishing a harmonious community for the school, fostering the spirit of pride and sense of belonging.
While doing so, the PTA aims to raise funds to be able to compliment the school educational programme by addressing teacher requests for non-curriculum-related expenditures that will benefit students and enhance their educational experience.

How can we help?
Naturally, the PTA has limited resources; human as well as financial. We are always looking for volunteers who are able to allocate some of their time or effort towards one or more of the activities undertaken by the PTA.
You don't need to come to PTA meetings to be part of the PTA. All you need to do is contribute when your participation is needed.
If you would like to join our list of active volunteers (if you are not already one), please click here.

How can I find out more information about the PTA?
Just click here to send us an email. We would love to hear from you.
