Starship Silver-Blue takes you on a journey, with three earthlings, to
outer-space where they meet the crew of the starship, are examined by a
nutty-professor, experience zero-gravity, try on x-ray specs, buy a
cute robot, befriend aliens and take a ride in a time machine before
finally landing back in their own home in Saar, Kingdom of Bahrain.
The process of putting the play together began some time back in April,
just before the spring holiday: scripts were passed to budding actors,
auditions were held, songs have been learned and practiced, props have
been made, with the assistance of some willing parents and slowly, but
surely, the visual extravaganza that you see, here in these pictures,
took shape. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those
people who have worked so tirelessly to make this show such a success.
The children, themselves, performed with such enthusiasm and commitment
that one wonders what they might have made of Starlight Express.
