Overseas trips contribute greatly to the range and variety of opportunities available to our students. A number of trips have a strong educational focus and help to supplement what the students learn in their curriculum lessons. Others are more social and fun-based such as the Ski Trip. These are in addition to competitive trips such as Football Tours and an exciting new addition to the trips calendar this year – a Netball and Football Tour to Hong Kong. Many of the trips are open to all Year Groups, although some are restricted to particular groups or to previously selected students such as with the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award expeditions.

With all school trips, our primary focus is the safety and well being of the students so careful consideration is given to any proposal for a school trip and we will ensure that each trip is led and accompanied by experienced and able members of staff. Each trip leader will give more detailed information about their trip in due course.

All our trips include comprehensive travel and medical insurance as part of the costing and a parent’s information meeting will be held prior to each one.
