Oh it’s just great to have everyone back and school action-packed once again. I have finally finished unpacking my suitcases from my holidays. I forgot that I bought so many souvenirs; tuna from Australia, tuna from Egypt, tuna from France….you get the idea!
I am certainly back in the groove now – so much to do and so many new faces to learn. It has been lovely to meet all the new humans in Nursery and also there are some new bigger humans too. If you are new to the school – welcome! I’m Tom and I love tickles under the chin and tuna! Feel free to give me both. I run the school helped by Mr Goodwin, Mr Fellows and Mrs Bataineh. But I do most of the work.
I know the Bahrain Marathon Relay is coming up soon so I was looking forward to practising on our brand new running track. Unfortunately, it is not quite ready yet so I have had to delay my training but I can’t wait for the Tiger Turf to be up and running!
I met some of the small human’s parents last week at the FoSC coffee morning (any plans for a tuna morning, Mrs Dawson?) – they were a very helpful bunch and I know that they will be very busy this year, dreaming up new ways to raise some of your human money to spend on the school. Perhaps, if there’s any money left over, someone could see to getting me a new sofa to sleep on?
But the best thing about being back is all the food! Year 1 had a Family Tea Party. Now, I’m not exactly family but I thought it was only polite to pop in and try the rather yummy biscuits!
Right, have to go and check the pool is ready for the start of Swim Squad training. Have fun!
