Wednesday 9th February began with thunderstorms and cold winds causing a mad rush to get all the equipment off the Tiger Turf and into the Sports Hall, before Reception and Nursery arrived for their annual Sports Day.
The weather did not faze the children however, who showed off their throwing, balancing, bouncing and kicking skills. They had help from the Year 6 House Captains, who explained and demonstrated each activity cheering the children on and supporting them in every way.
After the children finished their activities, it was the turn of the parents to have a go. They were all good sports and relished in the opportunity to bounce on the space hoppers, balance the egg and spoon and shoot at the basketball and football goals!
It was a great morning for both children and parents. Well done Nursery!
