After 5 months of meticulous preparation, 18 delegates from Year 12 and 13 attended the 48th North American Invitational Modern United Nations conference in Washington DC from February 14th – 22nd. Over 2,600 students from all over the world converged on the American capital to address the most pressing issues affecting the global community in no less than 38 committees. Apart from honing their diplomatic and debating skills, the St Christopher’s delegates, accompanied by Mr Mulleague and Mrs Nossiter enjoyed the abundant cultural and sight-seeing opportunities on offer in DC. They were expertly prepared in the preceding months by Mrs Martin and veterans of previous NAIMUN conferences. The trip was tremendously successful and our excellent delegates represented St Christopher’s superbly well.
