Our world has developed to a stage where each human must plant 16 trees during their lifetime to erase their carbon footprint. A joint effort by the UN and the Art of Living Foundation has proceeded to help people achieve this, and together, the two organisations have initiated a campaign: Mission Green Earth - Stand Up Take Action.

The primary aim of this campaign, which kick started in August 2008, is to successfully plant 100 million trees by July 2009. Our very own St Christopher's School too has kindly decided to contribute towards the cause with a commitment to plant at least 200 trees.
