Miaow there! You’re lucky there is a blog to read this week as I got a bit lost amongst all the fantastic dens that Reception children have been building. I love dens. They are great for sleeping in but I don’t think Miss Jackson was too happy to find me curled up on the roof of one her dens!
I accompanied Year 1 on their trip to the museum. I do think that it is important that I go along on trips just to keep an eye on things and, after all, someone needs to eat any sandwiches left over. Note for you all – more tuna sandwiches on trips please! Anyway, we all had a great time and I must say how well-behaved the children were. I held the door open for them and they all said. “Thank you, Tom.” Very polite!
I am feeling a bit tired now. It has been a long half term and I need a rest. It wouldn’t be so bad but every weekend I have had my all-important weekend nap (yes, it does last all weekend) disturbed by rehearsals by the Senior School children for their upcoming production of Les Misérables. I won’t say too much now but ‘Miaow-Wow!’ It is looking great! I was asked to take part as I was looking so miserable but that was due to none of the cast ever bring me tuna. Hint, hint. Right, I’m off to practise my French – I’m hoping to go on the French trip next year but Madame Chebel says I need to practise! Le miaow for now!
