Miaow, miaiow and a happy new year! Brr…it’s freezing out, isn’t it. I prefer to curl up with a mug of warm milk and a good book while it is so chilly but with all the children back at school, it’s been hard to get any rest. I’ve also been busy playing with my present that Susie gave me – it’s like a small computer and you touch the screen to operate it – it’s called an iPaw. It’s fab!

Mr Holness came to see me to say that there was a fish in the PE department now. Well, you can imagine how excited I was – I thought he might have bought me my very own tuna for Christmas. But no. Apparently that is the name of the new swimming teacher. I’m sure he’s very nice but I can’t help feeling disappointed.

I’m really looking forward to the Open Afternoon this week and I am hoping my Mum and Dad will come. I am going to show them the best places in the school – my food bowls, the sofa where I sleep and my favourite scratching tree. See you there!
