Meow! As we cats like to say.
Well, that wasn't so bad. My maths CAT test, that is. I know this is the third time I have taken it but I'm sure I ‘have passed this time. I did check my answers with some of the Year 6 humans who did their version of the test too. They said I probably did very well indeed.
Thanks to everyone who brought me in some biscuit nibbles and tins of food – I do like these ‘meet and eat’ moments! I understand that the School Council couldn’t find me at first. I am so glad they did in the end, as I have now made a very special friend in 3B – Kate, I love your lap! Anyway, next time please make an appointment with my PA, Mr Goodwin, and I will ensure I am on time, and then you won’t have to hunt in the bushes for me! Although, I must say it was quite funny watching you all!
There have been lots of little humans taking their music exams this week. I was going to take up a brass instrument and go to Mr Holman for lessons. But then I realised that I had misread the letter - I thought it said "Volunteers for the tuna wanted". I was very disappointed to find out that, apparently, it was "Volunteers for the tuba wanted".
Thursday was fun - Miss Lambert hid Marvin the Merlin! I love it when she does that. Marvin is one of my favourite House mascot birds - I think he's a little plumper than the others...delicious! Unfortunately, I didn't find him as I was sleeping. But, if I'm ever awake he’d better watch out!
I have to start planning my summer holiday soon. I would love to hear any ideas for holiday destinations that you might have for me. Last year, I went to Cornwall in England. I stayed in a lovely little village called Mousehole. No, really, I did. Look it up - it does exist! I stayed with a feline friend of mine. You could say he is The Mousehole Cat.
Better go...Mr Calder has taught me how to bake cakes and I've left them in the oven. Don't forget to e-mail me any holiday ideas!
