This
is the main entrance to the junior
school. We have put in a wide variety
of plants to make it look wonderful. |
|

|
Here are some views of our enormous
play area. |
 |
At the rear is a large shaded area.
As the trees spread out they will give
shade too. |
 |
Giant chess and connect 4 are very
popular. |
|

|
The reception area is the first part
of the school that visitors see. |
|
Each
year group has an Activity Street,
like this one. There are three
classrooms on either side, they share
this space for reading, group work
and year group assemblies. |
|
Each child has a cubby hole to keep
their bag and packed lunch in. |
|
The classrooms are bright and comfortable.
They have lots of space to move
around in. |
|
Year
3 children getting ready for P. E. |
|
Here, Year 3 children are using one
of the interactive whiteboards for their
literacy lesson. They are looking
at a clip of a movie with the subtitles
switched on. They are looking
for verbs in the subtitles. |
|
We have a fabulous hall with a large
stage. As well as assemblies and
productions, it also gets used for drama
work by individual classes. |
|
Our
library is on two floors, but don't
worry if you are not able to climb
the stairs, we have a lift too! |
|
This
is one of the two I.C.T. suites that
we have. The teacher has a desk
at the rear and can put examples of
work, from their own screen, onto
any of the children's screens.
They can also use the projector screen
at the front.
|
|
We have a full size football pitch
made out of Tiger Turf. It looks
and feels like real grass, but it never
needs cutting or watering. It
doesn't hurt if you fall over on it,
unlike 'old fashioned' astro
turf. |

|
This is our swimming pool. It
is deep enough to dive in at both ends,
but shallow enough to stand up in the
middle. All year groups do some
swimming as part of their P.E. during
the year. |
