The children also identify similarities and differences between Bahrain and some of these areas.

Year 6
Year 6 children begin their year by learning about archaeologists and their methods of uncovering evidence about life in the past. They are challenged to locate artefacts hidden in the school grounds. Their understanding is supplemented by visits to the Saar dig site, the National museum and the Bahrain fort, where they can see archaeology in action. The undisputed highlight of their history programme is History day, where Year 6 students perform activities and wear costumes related to their research of life in Britain since 1948.
