St Christopher’s Infant and Junior Schools set aside a day this year for art. Students worked under the theme ‘Made For This World’, looking at the familiar places around them, discovering the built environment they interact with and live in and created artworks that reflect this. A day of art turned into a day of creativity, mess, use of active imagination and fun. Students across the whole school enjoyed a day of exploration and being elbow deep in art materials. It was fantastic to see smiling faces and creativity come to life. The work produced during this day is part of a whole school art exhibition which included an opening to the public on the evening of May 29, 2011.
