| Infants: Nursery |
Welcome
to Nursery |
We
all learn best by being involved and interested
in our chosen topic: DOING rather than being
told. Children need time to explore,
experiment and consolidate learning.
This is what we are doing when they are
playing. It cannot and should not
be rushed. Children need to discover
for themselves in order to make the knowledge
their own.
By
playing in a group your child will learn
to share both people and objects and to
co-operate with others.
By
providing equipment which is suited to the
child's learning requirements, supported
by interested and informed adults with appropriate
training, we enhance and structure your
child's play to maximise their learning
opportunities.
