| Infants: Creative
Development |
| |
The
children are frequently given opportunities
to develop their creative and artistic
skills. This is achieved not
only through topic-themed work but
also through creative activities
that the child initiates themselves.
|
|
The
children learn about colour, texture,
shape and form through the following
activities.
-
drawing/sketching
- painting
- collage
- modelling
|
|
The
children anre encouraged to develop
all of their senses through the
use of dance and music.
Both
of these subjects are taught by
specialist teachers.
It
is within these subjects that the
children learn how sounds can be
changed, how to sing along and match
actions to songs, recognise repeated
sounds and sound patterns and match
movements to music.
