The children are given plenty of opportunities to develop their motor skills outside of PE.

This includes daily routines such as getting dressed after PE and putting costumes on in the role-play area.

The children regularly handle tools, objects, construction and malleable materials.  They are taught and encouraged to use equipment safely and to take care when returning the items.
