I have been on the phone to Eurocontrol all morning over this volcanic ash business...it is just as well all the Prime Ministers and Presidents have my direct line. It is taking up a great deal of my time at the moment, but if they do as I suggested it should be cleared up in no time – let’s hope so, as I’m really missing Mrs Kamal and Mrs Gilbert (and everyone else of course!).

I was so pleased to see all the little humans back at school this morning (no one mention maths homework – ok? Shhh!). Mind you, what has happened to the Year 6 humans over the holidays? What are you feeding them human parents!? Stop growing guys; it hurts my neck to look up at you!

I am off to the BIC with the Year 2s on Wednesday and Thursday, I hope I get to race round the track like last year!

Well, I’d better be off...that’s the phone ringing again...
