For the third year running, G4S, a global firm in security solutions, organised its annual "Happy Day" in over 50 cities and involving more than 10,000 underprivileged children. Being one of the world's largest employers they recognise their responsibility to give back to the communities in which they all live and work.
We, at St Christopher’s School, also believe that we have a moral obligation and the enthusiasm to constructively help and share experiences with our wider community and have been actively involved in ‘Happy Day’ since its creation, here in Bahrain.
G4S Bahrain organised a fun day for more than one hundred people, including seventy children with special needs and their carers, at the British Embassy in Manama.
Sixteen students from the Senior School accompanied Mrs Lonsdale, Nursery Year Leader, to assist in creating the perfect fun-experience for the children.
The happiness reflected on the faces of all the children who were part of ‘Happy Day’ means we are sure it will remain a cherished memory for all of the participants.
