First of all, many thanks to everyone who has entered pictures of me for my art competition.

First of all, many thanks to everyone who has entered pictures of me for my art competition. I realise that it must be hard to capture my youthful, handsome looks on a piece of paper but I must say how impressed I have been by the entries so far.

And I must also say how fantastic it has been to see all the fabulous art in the exhibition this week. You have obviously been very busy with your paints and pastels while I have been catching up on some much-needed sleep (I went to see Rod Stewart in Dubai last weekend and I'm still catching up from that late night). Ms Rowland did give me and Susie a private tour on the opening night but we had to cut it short when Susie tried to eat one of Reception's fish pictures - it was just too realistic!

Great that ‘Rock and Pop’ finally went ahead. My ears are still buzzing....those Senior School humans sure made a noise! And was that Mr Fellows I saw on the drums? I always thought of him as more of a classical musician type.

I am often asked what ‘House’ I am in - the answer, of course, is the one that has the comfiest sofa (ha! ha! ha!). I usually support all the little humans' ‘Houses’. However, I was swept up in the excitement of the recent inter-house sports events. Those Merlin children in Year 6 seem pretty good at football, but Kestrel, Osprey and Falcon came right back in the benchball and basketball. I'm going to ask Miss Lambert if I can join in next time in an Inter-House Sleeping Competition!

I do like to get out and about and last week I joined the Year 1 humans on their trip to the fort. Phew! It was hot!! But I rolled around in all the sand to get cooled off - how come you humans don't do that? Oh, apparently some of you do!

Right, I'm off to hang round Miss Walter's and Mrs Bataineh's Cool Cuisine club - never know they might be doing tuna casserole! Mmmm...
