First of all – an apology. I’d like to apologise to Year 3 in particular. I thought that someone had made that comfy, dark area at the bottom of Year 3’s Activity Street as a rest area for me. I had no idea it was actually Tutankhamun’s tomb! Imagine my surprise when the curtains were suddenly drawn back and I awoke startled to see the throng of Year 3 children staring at me. Sorry about that.
If that wasn’t enough excitement, I nearly got made to walk the plank by the marauding pirates of Year 2 on Thursday. I wore my eye patch and then tried to steal Oswald the Osprey to put on my shoulder (in place of a parrot) but Miss Lambert caught me. The Year 2 children looked great as they marauded around the school – very scary! Luckily they didn’t find my treasure – two tins of tuna that I had buried next to the Tiger Turf (shh…don’t tell anyone!).
I joined the Year 4 children on the day to Sheikh Isa’s house and the National Museum. It was a very busy day and my poor paws were very tired after all the walking but we learnt loads of interesting stuff about the history of Bahrain. I had packed myself a very healthy packed lunch too – tuna with a tuna dip.
Right, I’m off to get ready for Health and Fitness Week – you should see me on the treadmill!
