Festive Fayre 2010

Despite the torrential rain that fell the night before, the 2009 Festive Fayre could not be dampened by the weather! As always, the annual Fayre was well attended by pupils, parents, teachers and visitors. Our Vendors’ Hall was well represented and catered for all those looking to buy unusual or last minute festive gifts. Inside the Junior Hall there was the opportunity to take refreshments in our Café, to listen to the array of music being performed by students from Infants up to Seniors, or to visit the ‘man in the red suit’ and his Elf helpers in the ever popular Santa’s Grotto. Thank you to the Bahrain fire service for assisting Santa with his arrival!

Around the school, our dedicated army of parent volunteers ran the Tombola, Games and Activities stalls which were as popular as ever. Opportunities to burn off excess energy came in the form of a bouncy castle, welly throwing; beat the goalie and Porsche pedal cars. Drawing a close to the Festive Fayre was the raffle and the ‘gloop the teacher’ event! All of which contributed to the raising of 5600BD to enable FoSC to enhance the learning of the St Christopher’s learning community. None of which could be possible without the generous support from our parent volunteers and staff.
