Three Sixth Form students departed for Singapore on Friday 17 September, to take part in the World Finals of the Formula 1 in Schools competition. Accompanied by Dr Hughes, Team Eclipse comprising of Jean-Clive Bailey, Niels Broekhuijsen and Ahmed Mohseni raced the St Christopher’s car against 24 teams from around the world. Team Eclipse came fourth in the time trial with a speed of 1.076s. This was a fantastic result as the St Christopher’s time was only 1/ 5000th of a second slower than the first placed car.
