Extra Curricular Activities

At St Christopher’s School we place a great value on our students becoming involved in a range of activities outside of the school curriculum. An extensive extra curricular programme is essential in developing the whole child and gives each one greater confidence and self-reliance.

Most Extra Curricular Activities (ECAs) take place at the end of the school day although some will naturally take place at a break time. We are fortunate to have a body of staff willing and able to offer a broad range of sporting, musical, dramatic, cultural, creative and adventurous opportunities for our students. The after school activities are available to Years 2 to 13 throughout the year and to Year 1 in the Summer Term.

The school offers a very wide variety of ECAs as well as high profile overseas visits to places as diverse as Paris, Kuala Lumpur, Washington DC, Thailand, Tanzania and Russia. Ski trips, Duke of Edinburgh's Award expeditions and Art & Drama trips are also very popular. Music and Art related events also flourish, along with the golf, Marathon Relay, Model United Nations, F1 Competition and the St Chris Award. A host of competitive sports thrive throughout most weeks of the school year.

Overseas trips

Overseas trips contribute greatly to the range and variety of opportunities available to our students. A number of trips have a strong educational focus and help to supplement what the students learn in their curriculum lessons.
