St Christopher’s School Exit Procedure
If you wish to withdraw your child from St Christopher’s School, please follow the guidelines below:
1. In the first instance inform your child's form teacher (this can be done verbally).
2. Inform your child’s Head Teacher, in writing, that your child/family will be leaving. Please include the following information:
a. details of your child (name, form, relevant teacher);
b. why and when the withdrawal will occur.
If you have more than one child at St Christopher’s and they are all leaving, you need only do one letter, to be addressed to your youngest child’s Head Teacher, however please include the names of all your children leaving in the letter.
3. We require at least ten school working days notice for exit documentation to be prepared.
4. For students leaving Bahrain and going to a new school within the GCC, please be aware that some schools require the transfer certificate to be attested. Please check with your new school as to what they require. It is the parent’s responsibility to do this.
5. If notifications need to be submitted during a school holiday period, please contact the Admissions Department directly (admissions.school@st-chris.net / 17598500).
6. When unforeseen and pressing circumstances result in the child having to leave before the start of the new term, a full refund of fees will be made so long as the School has been given notice two full weeks in writing before the beginning of term.
