Community Email

In our continuing efforts to enhance communications between school and home we have recently developed our web-site so that it has enough to keep anyone occupied - with letters, newsletters, new events, RSS, etc. We also send periodic SMS messages.

To move even further forward, we are proud to include our new "@community" programme. As a School, we provide our parents and, in time, the wider community with a School-branded email account.

Now in its second year, we have recently extended the @community features to include @home.  Visit http://home.community.st-chris.net.  This makes it even easier to keep abreast of our website's frequent updates.


Logging In

To access your Community Email account:

  1. Go to the Community Email web-site (http://mail.community.st-chris.net)
  2. Login
    • Your username is the part of your email address before the @ sign (so if your email address is jane.doe@community.st-chris.net, your username is jane.doe)
  3. First Time? You'll need to change your password

Q: So what if I don't want to routinely use my Community Email?
A: Just set-up Forwarding.  Here's how...

Once you're logged in:
  1. Click Settings
  2. Choose the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab
  3. Set your forwarding preferences
  4. Save changes

Q: I'm a parent of a student at St Chris, but I don't appear to have any login details / I can't login
A: Don't worry.  Contact Tasneem on 17 598 497 or admin@community.st-chris.net and, once she's verified who you are, she'll help you out


Q: How will St Chris use this email address?
A: We will only use @community email addresses for official School communications. We will not provide these details to any other body or organisation
