The Grand Final of the Key Stage 3 Public Speaking Competition, organised by Ms Jennifer Herron of the English Department, took place on Tuesday 21 June 2011.

On Monday evening, 30 May, St Christopher’s School celebrated the rich and diverse achievements and contributions of the Year 13 students Year 13 Commencement Ceremony in the majestic setting of the Saar Auditorium.

The Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Program (CPISP) was established in 1999.

On Sunday 17th April, the finalists and winners of the Commemorative Royal Wedding Plate Competition were chosen by Jamie Bowden, British Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain and Anne Kesterton from Studio Ceramics.

After 5 months of meticulous preparation, 18 delegates from Year 12 and 13 attended the 48th North American Invitational Modern United Nations conference in Washington DC from February 14th – 22nd.

The Outstanding Academic Achievement Awards Evening was held on Tuesday 4 January in the Saar Auditorium. The ceremony, which was attended by three hundred students and their families, was opened by welcome addresses from the Principal, Mr Ed Goodwin, and Mrs Sonia Carr, Regional Academic Director, Edexcel International.

On Monday 18 October, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between St Christopher’s School and the Goethe Institute, Abu Dhabi.

We are delighted to celebrate the fact that one of our Year 12 IB students, Ashraf Abbas, has had an article published in the respected medical journal The Student Lancet.

The Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Program (CPISP) was established in 1999 by HRH the Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, with the aim of providing the opportunity to Bahrain’s brightest, most talented and outstanding youth to study at top international universities and colleges.

Our very own Sam Hobday has been chosen to participate in the 2010 Callaway Junior Golf Championships in the USA this summer.

On Tuesday evening, 1 June, St Christopher’s School celebrated the rich and diverse achievements and contributions of the Year 13 students at the inaugural Year 13 Commencement Ceremony in the majestic setting of the Saar Auditorium.

St Christopher’s Infant and Junior Schools opened their doors to staff, students and their families to celebrate this year’s Primary Art Exhibition on Sunday 9th May and Monday 10th May.

Year on year, our students continue to achieve the highest standards.

The final of the F1 in schools challenge took place on Sunday.

Students at St Christopher’s Senior School showcased their public speaking talents on Sunday 7 March during a Public Speaking Competition inaugurated by Miss Jennifer Herron of the English Department.

Our very own Zaid Al Borashid from 8E won the junior category of the short story competition.
