Karen Ardley, a highly-regarded, eductaion consultant and trainer from UK based, Karen Ardley Associates, facilitated the first British Schools of the Middle East (BSME) CPD event at St Christopher’s School from the 8th - 11th January . Drawing on her teaching and management experience in primary, secondary and post-16 phases, Karen provided CPD Leaders from around the Gulf with key insights and strategies to improve learning and attainment for all teachers through focused Professional Learning. Increasingly, Karen is rapidly building an international reputation as a conference speaker, writer and tutor including work as an adviser to the Kenyan government and the development of a teacher academy in the Middle East. The four days were a resounding success and St Christopher’s hope to host more BSME CPD courses for teachers and educational leaders in the future.
