St Christopher’s School hosted Mrs Halla Fadda, who is a workshop leader in the International Baccalaureate to give the Arabic teachers a workshop on the following:

• Inquiry as a stance, conceptual approach to learning in the Arabic Language
• Differentiation and integration into the programme of learning (the taught curriculum)
• Learning a language, learning through language and learning about a language.
• Trans-disciplinary approach to learning through the Arabic Language
• Reading and writing strategies
• Mapping and thinking skills for language in reading and writing

All the teachers enjoyed the workshop and in thanks go to Mrs Bataineh and Mr Goodwin for their constant support to the Arabic department.
