Mia-ouch! You may have noticed that I seem to have got a nasty leg injury this week. This is obviously due to the 30km run I did with Mr V in my role of marathon trainer…ahem. Well, I didn’t exactly run myself but I miaowed encouragement at him a she went past which is almost the same thing.

It’s been a busy week – I have been watching the inter-house sports events every breaktime. They all look very energetic! I wonder if Mr Holness and his team have ever considered an inter-house napping event. If so, put my name down.

It was also the Year 2 show, all about the Pied Piper of Hamelin. And what a show it was! I loved it, although perhaps next time we could have more mice instead of rats as mice are far juicier and could they be led to my basket please? Hee, hee. Great acting, singing and dancing though by the Year 2 children – well done!

There was also plenty of music and dancing at the Year 6 History Day. I found my paws tapping in time to some great rock and roll numbers! The day was only spoiled a bit when my black fur moulted over Mr McNaught’s white suit. Oops - sorry…

It has also been Arabic reading week and I have been trying very hard to brush up on my Arabic language. Of course, being a Bahraini cat, I really should find it easy. To be honest though, like all cats, reading isn’t really my thing. It gets in the way of all that sleeping! I did get to try the Arabic coffee and the dates however. Very nice but any chance of some Arabic tuna next time?

Miaow for now – I’m going to search for some books that I can donate to Mr V’s book sale.....
